Here is my second "skinning". This time one of the coolest and cutest papercrafts ever. Nanibird! The thing was so cute I couldn't resist. Once again I didn't make the papercraft I merely designed the skin on it. Check out Nanibird for more amazing designs and try your hand at your own it's a wonderful template super easy to use.

#1 Ganesh

Say hello to Ganesh my first papercraft "skinning" Please note I did NOT design the paper toy. Matt Hawkins at custompapertoys did. I merely took his "Paper Dude" blank template and designed Ganesh. I am extremely happy with the way he turned out. Ganesh is my favorite Hindu god. Who doesn't love a chubby elephant-headed diety? He is suppose to be the remover of obstacles. So print out your very own Hindu diety and let Ganesh remove all the stress from your life.

Welcome to Phyre Phoenix Design!

Hi everyone! And welcome to my little corner of the net. I'm not really a "blogger". My life, I feel, is far far too boring to tell anyone about. However, the reason I decided to create this blog is to share my new found passion with the world of paper craft. My home is slowly being invaded by these wonderful paper figures and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Just recently I decided to dive off the deep end and try my hand at "skinning" templates from paper craft designers. I hope to have my first one done quite soon *fingers crossed it turns out all right* if it does then I'll post it here so the rest of you can print it out!

Hope you enjoy your stay here

Happy cutting, folding, gluing and creating!

Phyre
